About Us
The Indiana Health Study is a longitudinal study of the population of Central Indiana that is intended to improve community health. Information collected in The Indiana Health Study will be used by researchers who will do studies to learn more about chronic diseases such as heart disease and diabetes that are common in our community. The results of these studies are expected to lead to new and more effective therapies, making our community healthier for generations to come. The Indiana Health Study is sponsored by the Fairbanks Institute for Healthy Communities, a not for profit organization.
