Fairbanks Institute for Healthy Communities
The Fairbanks Institute for Healthy Communities is the sponsor of the Indiana Health Study. By studying Indiana communities, the Indiana Health Study will allow researchers to better understand the causes of common diseases such as heart disease, cancer and diabetes. The mission of the Fairbanks Institute is to improve the health of Indiana communities by facilitating research that leads to better ways to prevent, diagnose and treat disease. A not-for-profit organization, the Fairbanks Institute is a local initiative that will have national impact.
